Chemfluor® FEP Tubing and Rod

FEP is fluorpolymer with excellent physical and chemical properties. It can withstand low cryogenic temperatures, and has low porosity and low permeation. Chemically inert at extreme temperatures, Chemfluor®   FEP can operate in temperatures ranging from -454°F to 400°F.

The materials transparency and weatherability make it ideal for use in sight gauges, especially when used with harsh chemicals.

Chemfluor® PFA Tubing and Rod

Chemfluor® PFA's stress crack resistance, excellent electrical properties and temperatures resistant properties make it ideal for use in cable coating, valve and pump linings and insulating bushings. Chemfluor® PFA, which can operate in temperatures ranging from -320°F to 500°F is chemically inert and virtually non porous. Used in any application with high heat and chemical requirements, Chemfluor® PFA's non-stick characteristics promote ease of movement of viscous, aggressive compounds, and prevent binding or protiens.

Chemfluor® 367 Tubing

Chemfluor® 367, a unique fluorpolymer maintains fluid integrity and in many ways out performs tubing made from standard, even high purity PFA resin. The surface of Chemfluor® 367 is up to 6 times smoother than tubing made of standard high purity resin. This results in less cross contamination, greater productivity yields and easier-to-clean systems. Chemfluor® PTFE Tubing

Chemfluor® PTFE tubing, manufactured from polytetrafluoroethylene resin, is a smooth, non-porous and dimensionally stable material that has excellent chemical resistant properties. Chemfluor® PTFE tubing handles working temperatures up to 500°F. It is widely used as a pressure tubing in general monitoring and paint, varnish or adhesive delivery lines. Chemfluor® PVDF Tubing

Produced by Kynar® Flex resin, a co-polymer material, Chemfluor® PVDF tubing offers the stable characteristics or fluoropolymer. In addition, it has abrasion resistance, mechanical strength and an inherent high purity. Chemfluor® PVDF tubing also offers chemical compatibility in higher pH solutions, increased impact strength and better clarity than standard PVDF. These features make Chemfluor® PVDF tubing ideal for use in the semiconductor industry, and nuclear waste processing.

Chemfluor® PVDF Pipe

Chemfluor® PVDF is manufactured from Kynar® 740, and engineering thermoplastic that offers the stable characteristics of a fluoropolymer, as well as mechanical strength, abrasion resistance and high purity. Chemfluor® PVDF also offers excellent chemical resistance, UV radiation resistance and low permeability. These shapes are stocked in rigid material but are available in other resins on a custom basis.

Chemfluor® PVDF can be used in the semiconductor, pulp and paper, and pharmaceutical industries, as well as for chemical and food processing. Chemfluor® PVDF meets ASTM standard D3222

Chemfluor® ETFE Tubing and Rod

Manufactured by TefzelT, a resin that has improved mechanical properties over fluoropolymers such as PFA and FEP, Chemfluor® ETFE is resistant to abrasion, radiation and impact. The material is weather-resistant and inert to most solvents and chemicals. And, it has a continuous service temperature 300°F

Due to its mechanical properties, Chemfluor® ETFE can be used to manufacture valves, fittings, bearings, pump components and electrical coatings. Chemfluor® ETFE meets ASTM standard D3159

Chemfluor® 767 PCTFE Rod and bushing stock

PCTFE offers a unique balance of mechanical, chemical and electrical properties that are not available in any other material, The versatility of PCTFE allows its properties to be modified over a wide range, depending on manufacturing conditions. Because it offers high comprehensive strength and dimensional stability, PCTFE is a good structural material. It also is idea for instrumental and laboratory applications, since it has low permeability and out gassing. Its cold-flow characteristics are lower than fluoropolymers, and it won't deform under load at room temperature.

Acutech PEEK Capillary tubing

PEEKT capillary tubing is designed specifically for the demands of high pressure liquid chromatography (HPLC). More corrosion resistant than stainless steel, PEEKT is strong enough to take the pressures of 5000PSI. PEEKT has nearly the heat resistance ad chemical resistance of PTFE but it is also structurally strong and abrasion resistant. It does not leach, and it is unaffected by continuous exposure to steam.

Acutech Polycarbonate Tubing

Polycarbonate is a transparent material with high impact strength. It retains its rigidity and absorbs almost no moisture, making it ideal for electronic applications. Acutech stocks food grade polycarbonate, although UV stabilized, USP Class VI and gamma resistant grades available on custom basis. Colour matching also is available. Acutechs polycarbonate tubing meets ASTM standard D3935.

Acutech DuailityT Tubing

Acutech Polypropylene Pipe

Pipe made from this resin is strong and has very good chemical resistance. Fittings (not currently available from Saint-Gobain) can be attached by a variety of methods, including socket fusion and IF welding.

Copolymer resin is used to manufacture pipe up to a 6" size. This gives the material additional impact resistance, making it less brittle. Larger pipe is made from homopolymer resin for improved I.D. surface. Flame retardant, UV stable and static dissipative pipe is available on a custom basis
