HISTORY
Saint-Gobain Abrasives carries on the heritage of two major abrasives brands-
Carborundum and Norton. The addition
of the Flexovit reinforced wheel range to the
Saint-Gobain package has resulted in an unequalled
Abrasives Product offering from price competitive
DIY consumables to state-of-the-art abrasives
for industry.

Patented synthetic Aluminium Oxide abrasive
grain. |

Carborundum Company formed by Acheson in
Pennsylvania USA, to produce grinding wheels,
whet stones, knife sharpeners, and powdered
abrasives. |

Began operation in New Zealand

by Carborundum Company of America. |
