Chisels are designed for use on angle
grinders and are extremely effective tools for
shaping and carving of wood
The
100mm blade will fit all 100mm angle grinders
- the 115mm blade can be used on any 115 or 125mm
machines Use for high stock removal of wood and
other soft materials
The
cutting ability of all blades comes from 3 Tungsten
Carbide teeth.
These should be resharpened periodically to maintain
the blades effectiveness Coarse Chisels have a
wider gullet than fine blades for
fast stock removal of woods
Fine
Chisels have a narrow gullet and the teeth are
set at a
negative rake angle.
Fine blades can be used to chase aluminium welds
however the teeth must be sharpened often
enough to ensure that aluminium swarf does
not build up on the cutting surface and cause
heat damage
