Zirconia abrasive flaps.
These discs are designed for medium to light grinding
of steel, stainless steel, aluminium, cast iron
and wood.
The
backing consists of layers of fibreglass reinforcing,
laminated together.
This provides a tough but forgiving backing, which
will not smear or mark the work piece as plastic
and metal backed discs are prone to do A range

For 100, 115,125 and 180mm angle grinders
Speedlok TR discs and backup pads are designed
for use on die grinders and small
pistol grip grinders and are compatible with 3M
Roloc® products.
Speedlok TR system allows for quick, ’flick
of the wrist’ disc interchange.
Discs
come in four different grits for a range of light
surface grinding applications.
577Z discs are coated with a ‘supersize’
top coat which acts as a grinding lubricant
making these discs excellent for grinding stainless
steel, aluminium and cast iron in
addition to normal mild steels.
BearTex Nonwoven surface finishing discs are available
in the Speedlok TR system
to blend out sanding marks - refer
to section 4.3.1.
Intricate
finishing of castings and hard to reach, limited
access workpieces are typical applications for which
tapered cartridge rolls are best suited. The wound
abrasive cloth provides a mild sanding action. Available
in two grits for medium and light finishing.
The points are designed to be used on the cartridge
roll mandrel and are interchangeable without removal
of the mandrel from the machine.
